Normal One-time Level 1+

Dar, the Mileth Black Magic Master, will teach a Wizard to research. Choose Research at his tables and craft a Smokey Sphere from Blue Powder, then bring it to him.

How to start

Speak to Dar.

You can also start it from your quest journal.

Objectives

  1. Research a Smokey SphereAt Dar, choose Research then Alchemy with Blue Powder in your pack. A failed working wounds you, so bring a partner to the tables.

Turn in

Bring the Smokey Sphere to Dar.

Speak to Dar to claim your reward.

"Hic! ...A Smokey Sphere, and all your fingers still attached. Good. Research gives a Wizard alchemy, the reading of relics, earrings from gems and town scrolls from parchment. Never research alone if you can help it."
